An initiative aimed at supporting and enhancing the teaching and learning process for students. This is the Marist Robotics Festival (FMR), started in 2008, which has annually provided a space for building knowledge and fostering creativity. The theme of FMR’s 16th edition is Tuning Voices.

Format in 2024

This year, due to the flooding that affected the state of Rio Grande do Sul in May, the FMR activities, which usually take place at PUCRS, will be held in new formats. For the categories Incubating Ideas and Laboratory City, the entire evaluation process, submissions, and student feedback will be conducted online on August 16, 23, and 30. The Robot Challenge has been restructured to be held at various units across the country, increasing engagement with technology nationwide, with each unit adapting to its own context. Each unit will have the opportunity to organize the event, highlighting and celebrating the registered projects.

The 2024 FMR workshops will take place from 10 AM to 11 AM, via synchronous call on Teams:

– Aug 16 | Immersion in Educational Robotics;

– Aug 23 | Creative Learning and STEAM;

– Aug 30 | Application in the Unit.
